The Hertfordshire Clubhouse is located in a stunning Grade II listed mansion, one of the most attractive buildings of it's kind. This 18th Century Mansion overlooks the golf course from each side and meanders through ancient grounds once owned by The Order of the Knights Hospitallers of St John.
Jack Nicklaus II designed the Golf Course, which is a par 70 spread across 6276 yards of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, making full use of the natural surroundings. The lakes and forests in the area, create natural hazards for all golfers, acting as protection against the shorter yardage. With full irrigation cover of tees, fairways and greens, the course is in fantastic condition all year round.
The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club is not only home to an amazing Golf Course and Driving Range, but also an incredible Health Club with outdoor tennis courts and a refreshing swimming pool. The Health Club consists of three Fitness areas with a combination of cardiovascular and resistance equipment and a stretch room. The two outdoor, floodlit tennis courts can be used by Members and their Guests. The two Studios host a variety of fitness classes throughout the week and these range from Yoga and Pilates to Body Combat and Zumba.
